About Chef Walter Ishizuka

After over 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality worldwide Chef Walter decided in 2018 to bring his cuisine and services directly to your tables.

Chef Walter’s father travelled from Japan to Lyon in the 1960’s, to learn the art of French cooking – he remains to this day one of his biggest inspirations. Walter had the opportunity to work at some of France’s and London's most famous 3 Michelin stars restaurants ( Paul Bocuse, Ritz Paris, The Connaught London...)

His creative cooking, modesty and rigour have been qualities that Walter has brought into his own style of cooking blend classic French fare with a delicate approach to flavour and texture derived from his Japanese heritage – his dishes feature bold, simple flavours cooked using only the very finest ingredients.

Imbibing each dish and new menu with his enthusiasm for fresh, seasonal ingredients and the wealth of quality British produce that he often goes to select himself at London’s many famous foodie markets such as Billingsgate, or Borough Market. Whilst he remains true to the culinary legacy of great French cuisine, he brings with his Japanese touch a modern and innovative approach to the classic French cuisine.

Excellent service organising the event. And chef Walter was excellent - helpful, organised, clean, timely, and a good chef!

"Thank you so much for a lovely evening Walter!

We opted for the 4 course discovery menu and the food was outstanding: all the dishes were prepared with seasonal ingredients, they were beautifully presented and - most importantly - tasted excellent. The experience of having a professional chef in your kitchen is so memorable and it allowed us (the hosts) to truly enjoy the evening. And Walter was a fantastic chef: he showed up on time, he came prepared with all the ingredients and utensils, he explained every dish as he served them to us and he even helped tidy up the kitchen afterwards.

I really can't think of anything I would change about our evening and I can't recommend Walter enough".     Kinga.K

My guests and I had a wonderful experience with chef Walter. From the very beginning Walter did not put a foot wrong. He called within minutes of receiving my booking to discuss the menu and was willing to adjust it to my requirements. On the day of the dinner he arrived exactly at the agreed time and adapted easily to my kitchen. My guests and I loved Walter’s discovery menu particularly the expertly cooked duck with truffle polenta and poached pear, and the presentation of every dish was Instagram- worthy. Walter was also very friendly and interacted easily with everyone. I’d highly recommend him for any type of event and wouldn’t hesitate to book him again.   TS

Great experience! The chef was super nice and he cooked a 5-star meal. The truffle soft polenta was amazing I would highly recommend Walter! Gil.R

Food was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed it. High quality ingredients presented beautifully. Walter was really professional, friendly and explained the dishes well before serving them.
A brilliant service which allows your host to spend the whole night sat at the table with you rather than slaving away in the kitchen. Certainly something which I would recommend to friends throwing similar dinner parties.
5 out of 5!   Simon
